How many books did you read this year?

At the moment, I have read 41 books. But I am hoping to hit 45 by the end of the year!

10. What was your favorite new release of the year?

Sunrise on the Reaping hands done. Though Atmosphere was a close second!

🍎What's something you learned while researching for a fic?

A lot about pregnancy and childbirth, oddly enough. Despite having a qualification in childcare, the education system I followed was lacking, and I found out more this way than through actual education.

🥘What wip are you most excited about?

I'm working on a FZZT missing moment to celebrate the anniversary this week!

🎬One of your fics gets turned into a TV series. Which one is it and what network is it on?

6. Do you listen to anything while you write? Or do you prefer silence?

I have to have something on on the background. Music. A YouTube video or a movie. I absolutely absolutely cannot work in silence it stresses me out so much 😅 as long as there's some sort of noise I am happy.

9. Has anyone ever drawn fanart for one of your fics before?

I've had some moodboards and some manips made before by some wonderful wonderful mutuals in the Fitzsimmons fandom 💕

16. How do you write your fics? (Handwritten, google docs, word, etc)

a mixture of hand written and google docs! I handwrite/plan a lot of fic (though most of the Handwritten stuff never gets posted its for me to get the ideas out of my head. Maybe I'll post some of them some day!) Google docs mainly cause It made life easier for me and my beta and meant I could work on fic anywhere (anyone who followed me in 2017 knows most of a fic I did was once written in a McDonalds in Poland!)

How do you decide what POV to write in?

emmmm... based on the vibes. Ive always written 3rd person, 1st person freaks me out too much, but everything else depends on the plot and the vibes.

I had just finished high school and it was... it wasn't great tbh. I'd barely any friends, and so in the summer of 2014 I spend far far longer on a certain website than I care to admit.

And in December, I posted an idea I'd had for a number of months.

I didn't expect much, maybe a few kudos and some comments. In fact, I can't even remember how well the fic was initially received but I continued to write. I only did it as I found it fun. I wasn't expecting anything from it.

I wasn't expecting friends from all around the world. Friends who laughed and cried with me. Friends who I've been privileged to meet and travel with. Friends who supported me when I cared for a terminally ill family member and friends who helped me with my undergraduate dissertation when my supervisor ghosted me and went to Canada (and also wouldn’t let me right about otters. It's been 6.5 years and yes, I'm still bitter). They've helped me with job applications and comforted me when I failed another driving test.

They've been with me through the highs and the lows of the last ten years and I hope they're able to say the same of me. They have made my life so much better 💕 and for that I am forever thankful for them.

1. What made you start the show?

i kept seeing stuff about it on tumblr in 2019, and it was on my watch list forever, and then at the end of 2020 i finally sat down and started it, and the rest is history!

18. Favorite rescue?

bobby saving may in 5x16, and then the rest of the 118 coming to their rescue and the entire team together again as they held bobby upright - it's one of the most powerful scenes on the show and i don't think anything could top it for me
