Idk if any of you guys have seen The Starling (it's still in Netflix but there's no spoiler in this post, I promise) but this scene makes me weep during rewatch. Well, right before this movie came out my husband and I stopped interacting like normal humans for a week until one of us realized there's an elephant in the room. Apparently, he wanted to go back to his country and didn't know how to break it to me. We had a very emotional discussion of things that upset us over the years, and I opened up about how I used to cry myself to sleep because I can't do anything to help his situation and how we both needed a reset.

The interaction in this scene had similar emotions that we had when we had that chat. Then this movie came out and on second, third, fourth viewing this part manages to make me break down in full.

That's why I'm really pissed off they buried this in the reviews. I have a somewhat personal connection to their story.
