[ ϟϟ ] —   He had tracked down those Vampires into the very heart of a deep forest but there he lost the scent for some reason. It left the Captain standing in a small opening, peering up at the moon as he tried to think where his prey could have run off to. This was, where he noticed a movement behind the trees to his right.

His head swiveled to the side, crimson eyes almost glowing as they stared at the figure that was standing there.  It was not a Vampire - he could tell that much.
