NiGHTS cheerfully hummed to themselves as they finished up prepping the Dream Gate for the Halloween festivities. They were already shape-shifted into an appropriate costume. The trees surrounding the fountain in the center were all bright fall colors, and a light mist clung to the ground. Strings of plastic bats were strung throughout the forest, along with fake cotton-like spiderweb. Overall the area was more ‘spooky’ than actually scary.

More secrets than one bug could possibly hold lied in this kingdom. This poor, dying, withered husk of a kingdom... He could only wonder what happened. Why did so many spots have symbols that matched his horns? Was this his fault? He made his way into the Ancient Basin and looked around the place, carefully descending until he reached a fountain. There were rotting corpses that repulsed him and told him to stay away. He managed to ignore it and walk in, only to see a fountain of himself.

Foresight was not predicting anything like this.

       maybe, just maybe he’s gone a bit too far this time-but hey, if one is visiting different timelines it needs to involve stuff like this or else the whole experiment would be for naught. still, he simply shrugs at the small--demon-thing? he can’t tell for sure, welp--guy’s response, simply staring at him for a moment, his grin widening softly.
