First Lilal chapter since the season finale, so now I get to forgot that Ironwood is a dick in this AU, which is nice. My guess is that the team Ozpin and Ironwood are forming is gonna be called PINC, because colors and stuff.
And I do adore the Inked PINCs moment in the first of yesterday's pair of LiLaL chapters

Having recently finished my latest LiLaL reread... I have an Inked PINCs thought (spoilers for those who have not reas Linked In Life And Love but want to)
It is not unreasonable to assume that Ciel's - or at least LiLaL!Ciel's - family is the kind that places a lot of importance on Status and Station and Connexions and That Sort Of Thing
So I can imagine that, if the PINCs did get together and did get a Mate's Mark (thus satisfying the "Inked" part of the name), Ciel would spend a decent amount of time trying to figure out how to get her parents to accept the three girls their daughter just got Faunus-married to, since... well, I doubt it'd be what the Soleils were expecting
Mate's Mark means Ilia, Penny, and Neo know exactly how Ciel's feeling about this and of course they try to help her work out how to tell her parents about this... and at one point during that brainstorming session, Penny says that they should at least accept Neo pretty quickly considering all her connections
Everyone looks at Penny, hoping for an explanation, at which point Penny points out that
Neo's adoptive dad is an experienced Hunter who just saved the entire Kingdom of Vale and stopped the Atlassian military from getting hacked
Through him, Neo is cousins with the daughters of the Bandit Queen of Mistral, head of Branwen Private Defense
Through them, Neo is also in-laws with the heiress to the Menagerie chiefdom and the current heiress to the Schnee Dust Company
There's a moment of silence while the others process the realization that, from the perspective of someone who values Status and Connexions et c the way Ciel's parents do, Neo is arguably the highest-ranking member of Team PINC, and then Ilia asks if all that makes Neo technically-a-princess

Obviously LiLaL!Roman's backstory is nothing like canon!Roman's backstory but I wish it was canon because (LiLaL spoilers)
imagine you're a criminal and suddenly all your heists are getting foiled by this one kid who looks exactly like your dead sister who basically raised you, who you've been putting on a pedestal since you were eight years old, and whose disappearance was the reason why you threw your entire life away and became a criminal in the first place, and also sometimes there's a second kid that looks like a blonde version of your dead sister's terrifying wife
and they can't actually be your nieces because you very deliberately distanced yourself from the entire STRQ family after your sister disappeared and if you really were suddenly running into them over and over again, you'd think the Brothers were personally fucking with you
LiLaL!Roman did switch sides shortly after the rally with the Paladin, but if canon!Roman had the same backstory, by the time the Volume 3 finale rolled around, forget the Gryphon he'd be a magnet for every Grimm in the Kingdom of Vale
