31 day study photo challenge! day 1
month in review: december was good! a bit hectic, as demonstrated by my bullet journal, but i got to know my city and my friends much better and im glad that happened. i hope you all have a wonderful and happy new years day, sending all my love and best wishes to you and your loved ones!
Day 1/31: Last Month in Review
I don’t use a bullet journal but I do use a very messy “miscellaneous journal,” hence the to-do list on the top left. The gist of my month was that I finished my first quarter of college strong (even though it hurt) and had a restful winter break.
December Review
Looking back December went a lot like the past couple months before it, but everything is getting a bit better. For a preface, at the end of August, my boyfriend who I had been dating for a while and I broke up. It was really hard because it was because of things we couldn’t control and since then there has still been a longing to be together by the two of us, but he has a girlfriend now and so I’m just trying to heal. Basically, my mood has been up and down from being numb for weeks to sobbing one night about it (as noted in my journal).
My journal entries were a little more scarce this month than in November, but that could be blamed on how socially busy I've been, which has been very good for my mental health. I also wrote more creative things in my journal then I have in a while which is very good in my opinion. Also a lot more lists.
I saw the most movies in December than I have in a long time. I saw Wonder (that might have been the end of nov. but who cares), Murder on the Oriental Express and The Greatest Showman and it was a good time. I saw Wonder with my family, Murder with my grandpa, and The Greatest Showman with some good friends I haven’t gotten to hang out with in a while. Along with that I had a movie party with some newer friends from my new school and just consumed more media in the form of a film by myself this month.
My sister and I spent a lot of time together this month and we got to really know each other more and that makes me beyond happy. We have never had a very good relationship, but I think it’s definitely getting much better.
My grades weren’t amazing, but I plan to get back on track and focus much more and work a lot harder when I get back from break.
Overall, this month really wasn’t all that bad. I’ve never really done this much of a review of my month ever and I think it was really good and healthy. *Note to self: Review your months more often!!
