coming back to tumblr and seeing people debating whether kit and ty are going to be endgame was such an insane shock to me because I thought it was obvious lol. not just for the fact that CC confirmed it multiple times but because even in canon it was so obvious from the very start that the context for them was-- sure, friendship, but also so flirty. so very obviously romantic-- or at least it was obvious to me that's what it was leading up to, even before kit's "i love you."
so the fact that it's been up for debate since qoaad ended and there's essays and think pieces dissecting the text to prove it's one or the other-- which is great, don't get me wrong, literary analysis is a great exercise-- just utterly shocked me because i didn't think there was anything to prove ðŸ˜
