If they wanted the star not the starboy why not not make the starboy trapped as the star, like a beauty and the beast scene.

Like due to the wishes not being granted, his powers were in a way lessened enough that he cannot be in a human form anymore.

You then get this a cool transformation scene of lights and sparkles as it reveals Starboy. He is human again and so on.

Or as they get closer with freeing the wishes Starboy then gets his shapeshifiting back slowly with small transformations like with Maui in Moana when he gets his hook back.

By the way why was the villain couple removed? That would've been fun to show like imagine a villain duo saving the wishes for themselves, but maybe with a betrayal plot if they really didnt want the queen to be evil.
