‘ do you want a blanket? ’
this world was unlike the old , it was much harder to find a place to sleep with no money or credentials . the irony of it all did not go unnoticed to the apostle who now sat on the concrete step of shop that closed hours ago . he didn’t know where to find shelter , or how he could even begin to attempt to with so little money in his pocket . what had god EXPECTED him to do ? was this part of the struggle ? and he’s nearly asleep when a voice catches him off guard , causing grey eyes to open and focus upon the stranger before shifting back against the cold ground . ‘ yes … ’ the word trails softly from his tongue , unsure of whether to trust the man who extended the first offering of kindness judas had seen . perhaps the teaching of the rabbi did not go FORGOTTEN after all ! ‘ do you have any food too ? i haven’t eaten in days . ’
