❦Serah had listened carefully about the experiment that the scientists seemed to run and once more she had been chosen. It seemed that it would be her story to tell and who better to tell it to than her own big sister? The younger Farron had a feeling that perhaps they were taken from different times of the same timeline, as odd as that might sound. This was because she firmly believed that there was only one Lightning and only one Serah, discounting the fakes and Lumina.

Looking up at her older sister, she offered a smile seeing as the older seemed a bit confused.❦"You know Light, it seems to me that you're a bit confused about a few things. That's why I don't see this experiment they're doing as such a bad thing. This way, I can show you what might not have happened to you yet. So just follow me, okay?"

❦Offering a hand to her sister, Serah began to walk toward the great unknown. The space between them becoming white until two figures could be made out, it was the both of them after they had finally reunited.❦

"Do you remember this? We finally got to see each other again... though this was after I died, but I wasn't sad. Okay I was a little sad, since our time together was so short. But, I never left you. Look."❦Before them lay the scene of Serah's soul entering Lightning's body for safe-keeping.❦
