Having a ghost for a mom definitely piques an interest in the supernatural. Inspired by her family history, Nora Lightly began writing horror stories as a teenager, highlighting the inherent horror that lies between bliss and tragedy.  It’s only fitting that a horror author would go on to marry a werewolf. As children, Nora bonded with her wife, Audrey, over a shared interest in vampires, werewolves, and ghosts. Audrey’s dream was to become a vampire, but in an ill-fated attempt to join a vampire’s hunting party, she was turned into a wolf instead. It took some adjustment, but Nora fully embraced the power of the wolf in her family. Audrey and Nora had one child, Ida Lightly.

A constant presence in the Lightly house, Squee first became a part of the family when Kimber was a child, quickly becoming her best friend.  Although she is quite scared of most things, Squee protects all members of the Lightly family, past and present. No Matter what happens, Squee will be there, sometimes haunting, sometimes hunting.

Meredith Lightly discovered her love of music at a young age. As she grew older, she flourished in her career, and quickly gained celebrity status. Meredith was engaged to her lifelong best friend, Alana, when they had twins, Royce and Nora. On their wedding day, Meredith fell to the family curse and died of laughter. AS a ghost, Meredith continued to pour herself into her career, but she desperately wanted to have more children and begged the wishing well to give her life once again. Resurrected, Meredith and Alana had their two youngest children, Everly and Raina. Kimber was always an active child, but after her mother's tragic death from laughter on her wedding day, Kimber threw herself into fitness, vowing to live longer than Beth. Avoiding weddings, Kimber decided to elope with Citrine, an aspiring astronaut, and together they had two children, Meredith and Alec Lightly. As an elder, Kimber gained the long-lived trait and lived long enough to see the birth of all four of her grandchildren. She was an involved, loving parent and grandparent, who had a passion for handiness, cooking, and staying active. She spent many of her days on the swing set, appreciating the simple things in life.

I call this one Generation 0 because I accidentally deleted Stella and Beth from my game entirely, so they don't show up in the family tree anymore. Rippppp
