If it is a gender, I have heard of it, believe me.
I don’t really like the idea of assigning gender expressions as gender identities. For one, it really just adds to the confusion people get when trying to figure out this gender mess, but also? It kind of enforces gender roles. If I have some feminine traits, does that make me a little bit of a girl? No, it makes me a guy with some feminine traits.
Gender Dysphoria is a physical condition that, while still poorly understood, seems to stem from the way the brain is constructed versus how the body is. It is unchanging, immutable. Gender Expression is how we interact, socially, with the world around us, and the position we take in that world, and it is our choice. However people chose to express themselves, I wish them only the best happiness, but for me, I’m going to find out who I am at my core. That is my goal, and if I find out that I’m male down there with a lot of femininity, I’ll embrace it. If I happen to be female with some masculinity, I’ll embrace that. That is my happiness.
