The Soul of a Light Warrior: What Michael Taught Me About Purpose
I went to see the Michael biopic today, and I’ll be honest: I wasn't prepared for how deeply it would shake me. I walked in expecting a movie; I walked out feeling like I had just reconnected with a soul I’ve known forever. And now I can't stop crying as i am typing this.
Even if you aren't a "superfan," there is a spiritual blueprint in Michael Jackson’s life that we can all learn from...especially those of us who feel called to a higher purpose.
1. The Burden of the "Chosen One"
We often see the fame, but we rarely see the cost. Michael was a "Light Warrior"(I literally heard it in my mind while watching movie)someone who came to this earth with a specific frequency to heal and unite. But being a healer in a harsh world is heavy. Seeing his journey reminded me that sensitivity isn't a weakness; it’s the very tool we use to reach people.
2. Manifestation as a Sacred Duty
One thing that stuck with me is how he lived by the rule: "If I can see it, I can do it." He didn’t just hope for success; he commanded it into existence. He wrote his goals on mirrors and spoke his vision into the air until the universe had no choice but to respond. It’s a reminder for all of us: your life’s mission isn't just something that happens to you-it’s something you must actively architect.
3. The Old Soul in a New World
There was a purity in him that the world didn't always know how to handle. He faced immense pain...a stolen childhood and constant misunderstanding yet his focus remained on "healing the world." That is the mark of an Old Soul. When your mission is bigger than your pain, you leave a legacy that vibrates long after you’re gone.
If you’ve been feeling "called" to something bigger lately, or if you feel like you’re carrying a heavy load as a healer or a creative, know that you aren't alone. Like Michael, we are here to bring light. It’s not always easy, and it’s rarely quiet, but it is necessary.
