The Light Thief

Someone asked me what was on my mind

I replied light

Speaking like thalamus brain

Now keep up

Third eye open

Vision clear

I wake to the light

Walk in the light

Creativity is my light

Light that shines in on the darkness that you try to hide

Your aura be tainted, evil

Attempting to extinguish mine, bury it deep, Light!

Words being used to steal my light

Chipping away at my creativity

Claiming it is yours!

Like Prometheus stealing fire from the Gods

Hercules with all his strength can’t save you

Bury you deep in the abyss of my mindscape

The Cell, Never to escape

Mine will shine eternal as yours fades like words from rain soaked paper

Light is what is on my mind
