Questa settimana abbiamo incontrato l’architetto Alessandra Zanelli, il massimo esponente nel campo delle strutture leggere al Politecnico di Milano (http://www.best.polimi.it/index.php?id=0000001542). Si è dimostrata interessata alla nostra idea, incoraggiandoci del fatto che in Italia ad oggi le strutture temporanee siano sottovalutate; il concetto di “temporaneo” infatti è ritenuto antitetico al concetto di “bello”, “di design”, punti sui quali il nostro progetto intende investire. Inoltre la professoressa ha sottolineato l’estrema complessità dell’intento: struttura leggera, dinamicità e involucro trasparente ma performante sono sfide interessanti ma che necessitano studi approfonditi e ricerche innovative. Siamo usciti dall’incontro rinnovati da nuovi spunti e nuove idee: la forma che avevamo pensato è cambiata, il campo di materiali applicabili per l’involucro si è ristretto e le strade di ricerca si sono delineate.
