With this blog, I wanted to keep track of my worldly discovery of music genres and trends that were as far removed from me as possible. I think the other day I achieved that when I fell into this Brazilian “Baile Funk”, as it is called. I can’t stop digging now, and it’s rather easy with the amount of views these channels get (I’m thinking of GR6 Explode, KondZilla or DJ R7 mostly). It’s interesting to think that someone in Brazil is getting 10,000,000 views, sometimes in a week, and I’ve never heard of it.
