So we’ve just started learning light deconstruction in our camera and lighting unit; Our homework was to pick a scene from a tv show, choose a screenshot and identify the lighting set up in that scene. Of course I chose MSec, well I was one of the only people to actually do the homework so my screenshot got used to deconstruct for the entire class... We spent 2 hours identifying the lighting patterns from this still then re-created the scene using barbie dolls, complete with diffusion screens, bounce boards and camera set up. Safe to say I was a little embarrassed when the lecturer kept turning to me for answers even though I realised pretty quickly I over complicated things for myself! *headdesk*
