Fitness Hack!

This is a bit long, but this is something I wanted to talk about- NORMALIZING REAL BODIES.
You see, these photos show how posing, flexing, better fitting clothes makes a difference. Hindi pa ako marunong mag-flex fully so I this are semi-flexed versus relaxed photos. I'm also not an influencer so I don't fully know the proper posing techniques too. But, I think you get the point.
In social media, you often see women with curvy 8 bodies, those who share "easy and quick" butt work-outs or "lose weight in 10 days". I'd tell you now, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS EASY OR FAST way to fitness, because this is not a race. It should not be a race because it must be a sustainable lifestyle.
I did lose 20 kilos through keto, and that jumpstarted my fitness. But it gave me unhealthy relationship with food. It also have butchered my already f---ed up metabolism. BUT THAT IS OKAY. Because again, fitness is not an end all, be all. IT IS A PROCESS and every time, you can PROGRESS based on your defined goal.
Before, my goal was to shed all that (graduate school stress acquired) weight, and I did. And I honor my hard work and dedication for that. Then, after reaching my target weight, my goal shifted to maintaining it and I did. Now, my goal is to maintain this lifestyle of lifting, running longer and faster, meditating and eating to nourish my body. Will I bulk up? Maybe. Will I cut down again? Maybe. Either way, the goal is clear for me that I am doing this for no one else but myself.
That's the key- DO IT FOR YOURSELF. But, please do so with guidance and do it safely. Yang nakikita mong celebrities, yes, they may work out and diet, but they may also get some help from som aesthetic clinics, thus their progress may be faster and clearer. But, I tell you this, EVEN IF WE EAT THE SAME FOOD, WORK OUT THE SAME ROUTINES OR DO EVERY SINGLE THING EXACTLY SIMILAR... WE WON'T EVER HAVE THE SAME BODIES. Your body is yours, baby girl. Love it, nourish it, train it for you. Not to fit into anyone else's shape.
Yun lang naman. Kalat yun thoughts ko kasi gutom na ako lol (after glute or leg day thingz). But, I hope you stop comparing yourself to celebrities. It also helps to be surrounded by a tribe of women who embrace healthy, sustainable fitness. So, shout out to @fayefuriosa and @supschrodinger... priceless ang support na nabibigay niyo just by doing what you do. Sharing, coaching, cooking, budoling. Char!
