“Athena” The sun was coming through the window at the perfect angle on this end of fall day creating beautiful contrasts and shadows perfect for my style of drawing. I love the simplicity of this piece as it is even after trying various background augmentations. The pensive feeling of her pose was exactly what I was looking to portray, even though our conversation during this day had us laughing and giggling quite a bit. This piece may evolve a bit more in a collaborative way, but I really love it the way it is.
