You’re Invited,
It has been a long standing tradition for the Wolves of Antioch to come together on this night. Put aside their differences and just enjoy the full moon. In the past few years this tradition has fallen to the way side. I feel that now this celebration is needed more then before.
So I am opening my home to all of you. Waya or Lares, wolf or vampire, xcubi or nymph. All are welcome invited to celebrate the moon on January 24th.
The celebration its self will be marked with a huge bonfire. There will be food and drinks for all.
I hope to see all of you there.

During January, the full moon has always been celebrated, a way of commemorating the passage of the first month of winter. Traditionally, a bonfire would be lit in the woods, and wolves from all over would come together in peace and good will, bringing gifts for other packs to help each other get through the rest of winter.
As far as celebrations go, the Wolf Moon was usually a rather calm affair, for it was the one moon of the year where the wolf slept, and the human was closest to the surface. The werewolves would celebrate not only the passing winter, but the importance of their human sides, and harmony with their wolves. Each wolf was expected to bring a gift to exchange with a member of another pack, or any of the supernatural guests who came along to celebrate.
There hasn’t been a Wolf Moon celebration in Antioch in years, but this year is different. Both packs and many other supernaturals in the city received invitations in the mail to attend the Wolf Moon celebration, taking place an hour away in Virginia.
~It’ll be a full moon like no other~
The Wolf Moon will begin on Sunday, Jan. 25th at 12 pm EST. Please tag all relevant posts with #LifelinesWolfMoon.
