1: an everyday note

Another feast.

Sigyn had begun to bore of all the feasts that the Aesir held. She could not comprehend why there were so many but it was now duty to attend them as she was betrothed to Loki, the younger Prince of Asgard. Each time, she sat beside him as was expected but the majority of the night she was sat in silence and picking at the food upon her plate.

She felt out of place, being one of the few Vanir among the Aesir and despite being the Princess of Vanaheim, being sat at the Asgardian Royal table was a lot different. Vanaheim was a lot less formal with its feasts and with the way people interacted with the royals. Yes, there were still formalities but etiquette was a lot less strict and that was part of the reason why she rarely spoke at these events lest she said the wrong thing or made a mockery of herself.

Another reason for it was that she dared not speak to her fiancé, fearing he was unhappy with the arrangement they had found themselves in. Their union was supposed to unite the realms of Vanaheim and Asgard but Sigyn had a gut feeling that Loki did not like her. When they spoke it was scarce, more polite and out of necessity than how a soon to be married couple would have conversed with each other.

It saddened Sigyn slightly as she had watched him at previous feasts. The way he spoke, the animation in his voice and gestures, the intelligence in his words. He seemed ideal to her; full of wit, full of knowledge and wisdom beyond his years and there was no denying he was eye pleasing as well. She wished to talk to him properly but she never knew how, never knew what would interest him or if she would seem too dull for him.

Laes attachment to Loki. She kinda wants to be like! "your my father and I deserved to be loved" but she never does because she knows if she trys to be a spoiled child she'll never get his love. Cause Loki is stubborn
