//That is like the majority of the people I follow, actually. I like their writing, their muse, what they post etc. But oh should I take up their time if I haven’t a single good plot idea? Nope, rude. But I do know I love your writing. Actually I may have a vague idea. If you are interested in it.

❛ i mean , i don’t know if i’d call it a ‘ meet cute ’ , per se. ❜ he shifts in his seat upon dr. mcgonagall’s couch , his voice exasperated. truth be told , he doesn’t know what he would call his first meeting with lily. what do you call an undercover agent initiating conversation with a woman for the sole intent of seducing her only to maybe catch real feelings along the way and marrying her ? a plan gone awry sounds like a much better description.

glancing over at his wife , he considers her profile a moment. she’s beautiful , smart , insanely attractive and outside in bed , but . . . well , something is OFF. something has to be though , right ? seeing as they’d married under the cloak of a ruse ? one he’s far too invested in , ironically making him incapable of abandoning it. he’s either become too good at his job or completely irrelevant to it. 

but you can’t really spit that out during marriage counseling , can you ?

HE IS ALLOWED THIS MOMENT OF PASSIVE ENGAGEMENT. no claws , no teeth , no need for a reason. he gives and he takes , and each is allowed to maintain an acceptable heart rate. peace does not suit him , not for long , but every now and again , it helps to indulge. it’s good for longevity.

but it never lasts. it can’t.

but it’s in his nature to question. all of it , everything , to ensure all is at its absolute best. the world has given him so little to work with and he built something great and gargantuan. therefore , logic dictates that it can be done in every and any capacity. he has to keep these people honest. 

the irony is not lost on him now.
