Id like to hear your opinion on this, I get a big feeling that Libro just may be one of those characters that hunt the narrative, manly Desscaras and Togeice's narrative and how they see Ichi.

Libro is definitely both very dead and coming back.

Dess's whole motivation, both in chasing the World Hater Majik and in taking in Ichi, is to avenge/"do-over" Libro's fate. So it's only natural to expect that there'll come a time where Dess will have (or appear to have) an opportunity to actually get Libro back—probably at the cost of Ichi.

I don't really have an opinion on how that'll happen (if through an illusion, time-travel, dimension-hopping, necromancy, something-else-that-hasn't-occured-to-me) because I don't really feel it matters much? I find that Libro belongs to Dess's character arc (less so Togeice's, I don't think she really knew him beyond "Dess's baby brother") and the mechanics of it aren't too interesting for me to speculate on.
