📖 Since it's World Book Day, we also wanted to share Library Comic and Unshelved! Both are comics about working at a library! You don't have to work at a library to enjoy these comics, though. (we promise we won't tell!)

1. This wasn’t supposed to be found by more than ten people and i have no idea how you all found it

2. yes, this is taking place in a library, not a bookstore or a school

3. yes, comic books are real books and they count as reading, and reading only novels does not make you automatically better or smarter than anyone else, and implying otherwise only qualifies you as an asshole who doesn’t know what they’re talking about -signed, a real fucking librarian who knows about how to encourage reading and that people read more when you don’t fucking shame them for their decisions and interests

4. this is about an extremely specific occurrence and beyond the point that people should be allowed to read what they want and THAT’S what makes a lifetime reader, I wasn’t trying to make any other point. any additional commentary on this post is not mine and i have no other commentary to make in response to it.

5. some of you really should consider going to therapy to unpack some of the things that you are putting into the notes of my post for me to see without warning
