Captain of the S.S. Femslash

Fantasmo El Muerte is the Mexican champion. He's said to be psychic, but most people think he's a hack, and he sort of plays up the hack psychic angle to make his opponents underestimate him. He actually is psychic, though, and he can see ghosts. He's capable of seeing Yami no Yugi in his spirit form. He's a laid-back, chill guy who enjoys being a bit of a tease to rile up his opponents, but he's genuinely a nice guy off the dueling field and is quick to make friends.

Hielo Shields is an Argentinian duelist who uses Ice Barriers and a champion of many South American tournaments. A gruff older man who believes in treating all his opponents with deep respect. He may have been a soldier at one point, but won't talk about his past.

Không May is from Vietnam and uses a ritual deck focused around the End of the World ritual card and its two ritual monsters, Ruin and Demise. She's won a ton of tournaments in Southeast Asia. She's a fortuneteller but the only thing she's good at fortunetelling is unlucky and bad events. She's a little confused and off kilter right now because she was pretty certain the world was just about to end like a couple days ago and then it didn't (Doma stuff). She can come off a bit creepy and overwhelming at first.

Zahrah the Desert Rose is the North African champion from Nigeria and uses Plant Princesses. She's super energetic and loves dueling with all of her heart and soul. She wants to make people happy with her duels above all else. She's the main one of my new characters who becomes good friends with the main gang.

King Tau is the South African champion from...South Africa...and uses a Beast deck. He's very suave and a bit flirty but its so gentlemanly that it never puts anyone off. His elegant style and personality seems at odds with his power-focused Beast deck, so it can often catch his opponents off-guard.

Ocean Sheridan is the Australian champion, and her deck is based around sea serpents. She's kinda happy-go-lucky, excited and really jazzed to be here. She's a major fan of Jonouchi specifically, who was her inspiration to get into Duel Monsters, and like him she shot up the ranks as an amateur remarkably quickly.

I was thinking about characters from GX who could potentially have shown up at this point in the timeline - most of the cast is probably around 4-6 at this point, so they're too young to show up. But you know who isn't? Chronos de Medici!
