Walking in the castle gardens with Kokichi, and getting knocked out when he made Shuichi inhale an extremely strong scent: that was the last thing the prince remembered. So when he slowly stirred awake... “Nnngh...” He was naturally very confused where he saw that he was in a room... he’s never seen, before. “Where am...I...?”

The room is silent, save for what he swears is the sound of waves outside... along with the  feeling of the room slowly rocking. “I hear...water... and the room is rocking. Don’t tell me...!!” The only possible answer is that he was on a ship. Which now makes him wonder: why is he on a ship? And where is he being taken?

He would’ve tried sitting up so he look around, but that’s when he discovers that- “?!” He can’t move his body. “Wh... Why can’t I move..?! Ah...” Turning his head as best as he could, Shuichi could now see the reason why: he was tied down by rope... “....... “  Now he was really starting to feel the fear kick back into him, but he took a deep breath, telling himself that he is a prince: he has to keep a clear head, no matter the situation.

“So I truly was kidnapped... Will I be rescued...? Or: killed...?” He lets out an anxious exhale at the thought. If he isn’t saved, then the latter is the only fate for him. He doesn’t have his sword on him, he’s tied down, and who knows where in the ocean he’s even at: so any attempt to escape was definitely out of the question right now.

Hearing the sound of a door opening, he’s snapped out of his thoughts, instantly looking towards the person coming in. “!!” He recognized who that was, right away. “Ouma....san....” The attire he saw him in took him by surprise for a moment. “Your outfit....!” Something that a...pirate would wear. But before he could fully process it, Shuichi’s instantly reminded of what he did to him... and despite how anxious he truly is, it didn’t hinder the glare that he gives him.

“...Where are you taking me.” He asks, tone firm and demanding. “Was it money you wanted? Or riches of any kind? What was your purpose for doing this? And you’d better not lie to me.”

                         the murder of saihara shuichi was a pretty big deal when it happened.  a young and successful detective investigating a series of serial murders,  who lived in a relatively nice neighborhood and was kind but shy toward most people he met,  was suddenly dead.  that was six months ago.

                           his apartment was vacant now.  his uncle had gathered up all his belongings except for a lonely hat,  left in the middle of the living room as if waiting for its owner,  placed there by a loving and sentimental family.  he’d watched them go.  he’d cried out for help.  nobody answered him.

                             and now,  someone new was there.

                              he was wary of this boy when he first moved in.  he tried to keep out of the way.  stuck to the walls and watched quietly.  he didn’t dare to enter the bathroom,  or the bedroom.  he remained in public space.  cleaned up whenever a mess was left behind,  and kept to himself.  reading the books the stranger brought with him and trying not to be lonely.

   Another Sunday spent like this. Goodness, why should I expect anything to change? Dusting off her slim gray slacks, Sophie tidies her appearance upon approaching the gates of Hope’s Peak Academy. In her scarred palms, she grasps the handle of her leather suitcase as she holds her breath, quietly greeting the guard at the school gates as she passes their uniformed forms, head quickly bowing. 9:00 AM sharp, promptly returning to campus after a 6 AM conference downtown was only leading the student back to the presumably normal schedule.

    “What’s next--” Blocking out her pestering yawns with the back of her gray blazer’s sleeve, her left-hand snakes down into the pocket of the blazer and retrieves her notebook. Heavy, dreary lids, be damned! Why couldn’t she look energetic for once? Sophie grumbles under her breath, rubbing the corner of her right eye as she opened the notebook and she begins skimming through. 

     Rarely spotting another student she recognized on the academy’s grounds on Sunday -- besides the Main Course students who reside in the on-campus dormitories -- the seamstress’s expectations to be distracted were substantially low. Copper irises flicker between bounded pages and the prized maintained courtyards across campus, her thoughts organizing and reworking her plans for the day. 

    ...Until she spotted a deceivingly dark head of hair, locks whisking long and sporadically downwards. Upon further inspection, squinting through the sun rays, she verified the hair was dark purple. Though from head to two, it seemed like this young person was dressed in all white, the bottom trim of their shirt, and full-length white pants too..! Wait, why were their belts tied around the upper half of their legs? Why are the belts extending out so long? Can’t someone trip because of that?! What is with the whole ensemble?

       Ms. Hatter quietly slows her notebook, tucking it back into her pocket. Glancing over her shoulder, her brows furrowed the longer her thoughts begin processing this scene before her. Had someone’s family from the Main Course decided to visit on their day off? Perhaps this was why such a young child was alone wandering the school grounds? Part of her considered another possibility, but she dismisses it immediately.  ‘...Hope’s Peak Academy doesn’t have a secondary school program. If that were the case, oh Lord. All we have are the elementary component with the Lil’ Ultimates.’ 

     The Hatter decides to approach, half-regretting yet half-curiously, wanting to solve the ever-pestering inquiry occupying her mind. Gently, she raises her left hand, scarred palm facing forward, as she clears her throat. She draws down her hand, softly inquiring to the stranger,

Komaeda shuffled through his thoughts, not having been prepared for Ouma's attention like this. "O-oh? Well it was actually just out behind the labs."

Thinking back in his mind to his walk earlier that day, he remembered being held up at a fork in the path. Gonta had shown him around not too long before, telling him which ways to avoid, but he couldn't recall which direction was correct. Komaeda cursed at himself for not paying better attention to the ultimate. Scum like him owed him at least that.

Accepting his fate, he took the left path and found himself walking through a beautiful forest. Rare species all around him, thriving in the environment. Komaeda came upon a dead end, but it was no bother to him. His knees ached as he crouched down to get a better look at a yellow ladybug. He smiled as he took in its beauty, admiring it for a few moments before he noticed that it was slowly moving up. He stood back up quickly and came to the horrifying realization that he was sinking. Glancing down toward his feet, he noticed he'd walked right into a patch of quicksand.

He let out an anxious laugh and raised his head to Ouma, cutting his story off. "I can tell you how I got out, or would you rather me show you?"

Celestia was alone in the communal kitchen. It was late enough at night so that it could be called early in the morning. Yet again, she was having an insomnia episode, and she knew that lying in bed staring at the wall would do no good. So... she had gotten out of bed with a small leather book in hand.

She was standing in front of the stovetop in her nightgown, carefully whisking the sweet smelling concoction in front of her. Her book was spread out next to her, two spoons with traces of chocolate holding the pages open. She was utterly fixated on the work before her.

    Peace and quietness. That is what Kiibo liked so much at this very moment. Everyone was rather doing there on thing. Having their own fun time with everyone else, while Kiibo was off in his on processors. Being a robot wasn’t as bad, at least for Kiibo. Sure he had to learn things first hand experience, but that was what he enjoyed to do. Learning things in life, learning how each of it seemed to be just pure fun, as Saihara would say, or enjoyment.

   Although he can’t feel these kind of things, it was nice to record it down so he can learn much on it later on though. He did like to analyse it again understand what it all meant, though he could only learn so little at the very moment, but he was grateful he could learn much as he could.

“ Now that you mention it, it does look like an octopus... “ Kaede hummed, thoughtful. She didn’t take the bite of Kokichi’s currently pouting personality, determined to try and understand him better than that as she doubt that was all there was to her classmate...

“ ... never mind that, I’m as good as with a piano as you are actually a serious guy, I bet. Your sense of humor could just be a way to hide, like a jester does... “
