Caelian’s mind was in a million places as usual. He couldn’t get a moment of peace in it because he was always thinking. He leaned back against his couch, closed his eyes and lightly swirled the whiskey in his glass as Def Leppard played in the background. He finished up everything he needed to for the evening and was planning on having a nice and quiet night to himself when he suddenly heard a knock on his door. He let out a loud sigh before calling out, “One moment.” he rolled his eyes to himself and set the glass down on the coffee table, standing up and walking over to the door. His hair was messy, shirt half unbuttoned, he wasn’t prepared for it to be someone he actually cared to let see him like this. As he opened the door and he saw Liam standing in front of him he looked at the other man, “What do you want?” he asked curiously, it wasn’t that he wasn’t happy to see him, but he just needed to forget about things for a little bit tonight.
