1: How do you define your sexuality?

I’m kinda chill about the whole labels stuff. I don’t really put a label on my sexuality just cause I kinda just do my own thing, but I’ve been in a relationships with guys and girls.

16: How accurate is your gaydar?

It’s okay I guess? There’s definitely people that are better than I am at sensing that stuff. Luckily we live in a time where people are pretty open, so you don’t need to rely on gaydar.

37: Are you religious at all?

Nope. I grew up in a Christian and Jewish household that wasn’t strict and was never pushed on me. I only go to church on Christmas Eve if that gives you a better idea.

40: Are you comfortable with terms such as lezzie, lesbo, or dyke?

5. How out are you?Very - my whole family knows, as do all of my friends and coworkers. I rarely hesitate to tell a new person if it comes up in conversation (i.e. talking about dating, exes, etc.).

80. Have you ever been on your period the same time as a girlfriend?Yes.

97. If I wasn’t in control of reliving my life, I have no idea! But I think I’d like to continue to be attracted to women. Women are so pretty and men are just NOT. (Except that one guy in that post with the husky dog who he says might be a human trapped in a dog’s body.)

98. I think what I hate most is that you should “look like a lesbian.” aka if you’re not butch, you aren’t qualified to be anything but straight. That whole scenario, yeah.

2. At what age did you first realize that you like girls?Around 14

3. At what age did you first come out?To people in my actual real life, around 20

4. Who was the first person you came out to? How did they take it?Officially to my sister, who asked me if I was moving cross-country to room with a girl because I was dating the girl. And I said yes and she said cool and moved on. The end.

99. What advice would you give a girl who is struggling to figure out her sexuality?Like my response below, your sexuality is only for you. Try not to let society pressure you into figuring out what box you are “supposed” to fit into. You might find you feel a certain way today and a different way tomorrow, and that’s okay. Talk to people - trusted friends in real life or anonymous strangers on the internet (like you’re doing right now) and take advice into careful consideration. It can be a process, potentially even a lengthy one, or you might have an ah-ha moment and know you’re gay, or bi, or pan, or anything on the spectrum one morning. Be patient with yourself.

100. What advice would you give a girl who is struggling to come out?You don’t need to come out for anyone but yourself. Have a support system in place if you are worried it will be received poorly by people you are about.
