“Harrison needed something for school and-“

“So you think it’s in my fucking room?!” She yells. She doesn’t even give him time to speak as she starts pushing him out. “Go, get the fuck out of here. I’ll bring him whatever he needs later but you need to leave,”

He lets himself be pushed out of the room and out the door. He turns to her before she’s able to shut it in his face.

cuz poor cassie’s trying her hardest just to get though the day without victoria fucking with her. she’s distracted her one too many times as she’s trying work, fumbling over words when she catches victorias eyes while talking to a patient.

cassie’s in a room speaking with a family of an admitted patient, assuring them everything was fine. the minute her eyes flicked out into the bumbling department, she caught victorias eyes and immediately knew she was screwed.

vjctoria was just standing innocently by an abandoned crash cart, looking inconspicuous as her hand raised up, circling around in a crude gesture by her mouth, tongue sticking out as her eyes rolled slightly back into her head.

cassie coughs into her fist eyes as she chokes on spit, the patient asking if everything’s alright. she reassures them she’s fine and when she looks back up to where the young doctor was standing, the space empty like she was never there.

she thinks she’s in the clear when she doesn’t see victoria for the rest of the day, only to be completely thrown off guard as she’s talking to the night shift attending at handoff.

cassie’s trying to give shen the run down as she shows home something on some clipboard when she sees a flash of purple out of the corner of her eye. literally everything in her mind telling her to not look up but curiosity kills the cat, and there’s victoria watching her with an evil smirk in a hidden corner.

her hand closes into a fist and her tongue is darting rapidly into the side of her cheek and cassie just stops talking mid sentence, a noise of pain mixed with a whimper falling from her lips and shen is just confused at of his mind as he looks over to where cassie’s looking and sees nothing.

he’s like is everything alright, did you just die? and cassie shoves the clipboard into his chest like gotta go, bye, good luck and takes off in the direction where victoria slithered off to
