But now it’s my turn. Where were you when I was being raped and beaten in alley ways? No one saved me.” Lex crossed his legs, the leather on his cat suit squeaking lightly as he crossed his legs. He flipped his blonde hair to the side a bit. “If someone had saved me one fucking time, I’d be grateful.” Lexius grabbed the man’s hair. “I will have a great pleasure in sowing your mouth shut. I’ll have great fun in hearing muffled screams that aren’t my own.” Lex growled and yanked the other’s hair and put the needle against his lip.
A revenge case. ‘Hurt the ones who hurt you’. Typical.But this kid had a lot more than just a chip on his shoulder. As the hand tugged on his hair, and the needle was pressed to his lip, he said nothing. He would not give Lex the satisfaction of screams. He was too well-trained to allow that of himself. A long moment passed, before he spoke, his voice quiet and of all things, surprisingly empathetic.
“I understand. I’ve been there. This won’t make you feel better, trust me. I do what I can, to help-- I’m not Batman, or Robin. Or anything else of that nature. I’m a man, same as you. I’ve been hurt, bullied, and picked on. I’ve hurt people-- killed, people. It only makes it worse. Don’t perpetuate the cycle; break it. Help others because nobody helped you. Show them you’re more than some piece of shit to be tossed aside.”
