living in germany and learning german as a third language kinda fucked me up ngl. the kinda being alive words that you wouldn't pick up from media, but you do from living in a country all default to german now. like i know them in my mothertongue cause yk growing up. but then when speaking english i will whip out an odd "pfand" or some shit bc i will asume thats just the other language word even when its not an english word whatsoever.
so shoutout to that i guess. i have no idea what the english word for pfand is nor do i care to know.
