I just read past the “hold alek at knifepoint” scene in Leviathan and couldn’t get this image out of my head. It’s pretty tense but their banter is so unserious, lol. I’m looking forward to how these iconic moments are portrayed in the anime next year!

I don’t know why I associate deryn with liking potatoes other than it’s mentioned that she eats them twice and I’m sure potatoes are the cheapest nutrient rich food to give soldiers. Anyway, I’m testing out some sketches of deryn sharp. She’s so fun and I’m excited for more people to be introduced to her.
