Girls' Night Out Job (S04E13)
- Interesting that we have another kinda gimmicky pair of episodes straight after the office job, but I have nothing against gimmicky!
- I realize it was probably obvious to everyone else, but I totally didn't pick up in previous watches that Mattingly says he likes not just cats but catfish because he was catfishing Peggy (and now Parker's kinda catfishing him).
- I feel like Sophie and Tara are sloppy compared to their usual standards when working together. Honestly I would've preferred to see them working well as a team and realizing the potential they describe of two grifters working together.
- I suspect this is an unpopular opinion but I just didn't feel chemistry in Sophie and Tara's banter. I wanted to like it but it felt quite forced to me. But I'm not sure I ever fully warmed to Tara so maybe that's where that's coming from.
- I lovvvve fake drunk Parker! I feel like she does her best grifting fake-drunk. Side note, I don't think we ever see any of them besides Nate actually drunk?
- I found the final shot of Mattingly & Tara making out pretty weird / discordant with the usual style of the show. They should've left it on Sophie saying they'd got into a cab together, that made the implication clear I think.
- On to the Boys' Night Out, which is one of my all time favorites and I am extremely normal about it...
