Bags... Packed.
Pokemon... Set.
Should he take Princess or leave her, though? The Liepard was still rather ornery and very much attached to Team Plasma. Would taking her to a different region with him REALLY be the best idea? Then again could he REALLY leave her at home where she could possibly hurt his sister again? Or even hurt his MOTHER?
For a moment he’d turn the poke-ball containing the Pokemon in question in his hand and look it over... Then sigh. Yeah, she was going with him. One last anxious look in his bags -- Wait a second. There was a pair of socks missing.
“FELICITY!”
‘Fuuurrrrrr!’ Came the playful call of a shiny Furret.
“Did you take a pair of my socks?!”
All he got in response was a twitch of ears followed by the furret hopping away, little bell ringing as she ran off. Not too long after she had returned with the missing pair of socks. Hugh couldn’t help but to chuckle at the shenanigans. “Thanks. Go take my sister’s socks and hide those. Give her something to do.” Hugh suggested, giving the Pokemon a gentle scratch behind her ears.
And with that, he gathered the luggage and headed downstairs where he was met with a BIG hug from his little sister.
“I’m gonna miss you, big brother!” The young girl commented.
With a small smile, he gave her a ruffle of her hair. “Hey, I’ll bring something back for you, alright? Souvenirs for you all!” And there went a wide grin from Hugh!
As soon as his sister had let go, he headed off to his mothers room to say a goodbye to her. “And don’t worry. We’ll be safe. Promise. And I’ll call you every night - PROMISE! Take care mom. I love you.”
And now, the goodbye to his dad... Was nothing but a simple exchange of nods and ‘See you later, be safe.’
And now -- It was time to go meet up with Mei so they could go board a plane and head off to ALOLA for a small little vacation of sorts.
