This was the first ever Miyazaki  and Level 5 game I have ever played and enjoyed so very much. The story was heart warming and very good which made playing the game all the more addictive along with the easy combat mechanisms within the game. The puzzles were fun and not too overly difficult unlike in tales games but I did have trouble in the temple of tiles with the trials of friendship where I had to control both Easter and Oliver at the same time. That moving of the character through both joy sticks was very interesting and hard at the same time and I was told the video game called Brothers had that same kind of mechanism so I doubt I have seen the last of that kind of a challenge. The aiming of Swains pistil was also a new interesting mechanism they added to a JRPG which I guess shouldn’t surprise me if the technology is getting good enough to add new thing like that, that video game companies couldn’t in the past. With just beaten the game I can’t wait to play Ni no Kuni 2 and see how that wold of magic evolves in the future in every way. Even if the story is done I may have to go back and play it to finish doing the rest of the Bounty hunts, side quests and Familiar tournament.
