she does not need to shift her attention at the approaching figure, her senses sharp enough to recognize the absence of traditional spiritual pressure. it is not hollow - like, not exactly human either. 

the kind of power she had almost erased from the depths of her memory. 

how nostalgic.

without requesting permission, she proceeds with the task of pouring a cup of warm tea for the unknown guest. not even once her demeanor changes, as if the occasion is utterly normal. then again, she was never the person to draw her blade first, not anymore at least.

There was a fundamental injustice at work within the Wandenreich. Well, there were probably a handful of those on any given day, but Bazz-B had decided to focus his attention on one particular slight against his prowess. It was enough of a sin that he wasn’t leading this entire organization (a gripe for a different day and more sympathetic audience), and he supposed it made sense that Jugo should be second-in-charge of it all (the dork lived for that sort of admin work). But to accept that he, Bazz-B, the Heat, the most kick-ass, bad-ass, good-guy Quincy--

That HE wasn’t even a member of the Schutzstaffel-- it was ludicrous.

        “  quit being a showoff and just do your job already!  we get it,  okay??  ”

     out of nowhere, coming from not too far behind their current location, the raven girl can listen to approaching steps. & right after taking one last look at the slumbering face of her injured Captain, she comes to terms with herself: it’s time to fight. it’s time to do the next right thing, no matter the cost! valiantly standing on her feet & stepping out from her hiding place, she yells:

I wonder what you find so unsettling about it . ‘ perhaps it was how silently she walked , only clicking her heels in the middle of a dark hall at midnight . looking like a damned smiling ghost .
