some lizards, like iguanas, chameleons and some turtles, lay eggs regardless of fertilization and some birds only lay eggs if they’ve been fertilized. I think you’re safe just using your imagination. Maybe some dragons give live birth as many snakes and some chameleons do! It’s a totally different evolution line than reality, so maybe dragons could be marsupials. It’s really up to you.
