#SB1 Hearing at the #TXlege
I got to the Capitol too late today to sign up to give oral testimony, but I did submit 20 copies of my written testimony and registered my opposition to #sb1. You can turn in written testimony until 9PM near the E1 rotunda.
For now I am watching testimony in the auditorium. I’ve seen far more orange shirts than blue, but it’s nowhere near as skewed as it was the last night of the first special session.
I plan on sticking around to see Mike Huckabee’s speech at 7PM (I’m still incredibly mad that people came from outside of Texas to talk about OUR state legislature), then I’ll drive back to SA and continue watching the livestream from home.
