What is the wildest thing you have ever done?

I've been staring intently at that question - that I haven't noticed the long hand had struck 12 twice. It's not that I find it difficult to search from my memories, in fact, the image surprisingly popped in front of my eyes like i was watching a home made video of something silly, with a smile painted on my face and tears streaming down my eyes.  It was indeed a thoughtless thing to do, stupid maybe, but yes, it was lovely.  It made me feel free. And happy.

Oh, how I miss those days. Those carefree days. Those fun-filled laughter. Those bubbly moments when I did something new, and it felt just right and wonderful.

I bet my slice of cake you, yes you, have that one time when you did what you did in a blink of an eye. I mean no thoughts or whatsoever. It just happened because you were so into the moment, into the flood of emotions, into the burning passion of the perfect timing. You tore down all walls, broke free, and dived in. You drank it all. You took the plunge.  You bathed in the feeling that for that few seconds or minutes or hours, you let no one, not even your all knowing and righteous mind, control you. 

As i sit here, having this weirdest relationship with my screen right now, I can't help but savor all that was. Situations have changed. And it mostly made me be guarded and be wary, trampling all the freedom and the blissful emotions that I so desire to feel once again.

I know I still am capable of letting lose. Of being drunk while being sober. Of dropping it all and jumping in. Of living. Of loving.

Those were the days.
