Dear Divine Foresight,

Apologies for the formalities, I can't seem to let go of old habits. How are you, my dear friend? Since our trip to Xianzhou Luofu, more tourism has come our way. People from far, far away are interested in our humble little planet. And the home of the Nameless Cloud Knight that defended it.

As you know, we have our own statue commemorating him. People from Xianzhou Yuque, Xianzhou Yaoqing and others have arrived to give their well wishes.

Yanqing has fit right in our ranks and now everyone is babying him off the clock haha. He makes them do extra work outs when they train but I think he does enough being pampered time to time.

Anaxagoras is still... Anaxagoras. As soon as we arrived he has locked himself in his lab making all sorts of things with what he gathered in our stay. I'm sure he misses Xianzhou Luofu as well.

As for myself... I'm still working tiredlessly here in Kalevala. Ensuring the safety of the outsiders as well as our own as we begin to open borders.

I have communicated with those in Jarilo-VI and have been told we can start preparations to travel there in a few months time. I can't thank you enough for connecting me with them. Their story mirrors our own and I can't help but feel kinship with the people of Belobog. I pray the Supreme Guardian feels the same.

When I get time to write again, I'll let you know more. For now, that's all I have to say, old friend.

Sometimes, Gen wishes he was just a normal person. There are moments where, after spending so much time observing the lives of others, he'll end up longing for something that just can't be. Growing up without a family that watched him with mounting trepidation; of being without the unobtainable legacy of another life--

It makes him feel guilty, and a little dirty, whenever he catches himself. After all, in the accounts of the Guardians, they're regarded as being gifted; what he has is valuable and important, and to think anything else of it would be insulting to the heavens above.

Besides, he managed to find a new family for himself anyways-- sure, they're all a bit odd, but he loves his Pokemon dearly. He's grateful for them.

The Dark Brotherhood is a fraternity of assassins dedicated to Sithis and the “Night Mother” (otherwise known as the “Bloody Flower” or “Bride of Sithis”) who was the original founder of the Dark Brotherhood. Those who wish to have an assassination take place must issue the “Black Sacrament”, a call to the Night Mother, and it is interpenetrated through the Listener, the only person who can hear the voice of the Night Mother. Either the Listener or another Dark Brotherhood assassin is then required to take on the target given by the quest giver (typically in Skyrim its taken on by the Listener, I’m not so sure in Oblivion??? Since I haven’t played Oblivion but I know the lore really well.)

A Listener is found when the Night Mother communicates with them telepathically and tells them the Binding Words, to which they must tell to the Keeper in order to affirm their status a new Listener.Listeners are the sole authority of the guild, functioning only beneath the Night Mother herself. Listeners command the Dark Brotherhood and the Black Hand; they choose who to promote, who to recruit, and how. It is presumed that each branch of the Brotherhood has its own Listener to complete more contracts.

Originally, the Night Mother was actually a member of the early Thieves Guild and found it easier to kill the occupant of the house rather than sneak around. (Thieves Honor Code is you don’t kill the target of your larceny, since it is bad for business, and one target today might be your customer tomorrow.) She broke away when they told her she couldn’t kill those she robbed. 

When she dedicated herself to Sithis, he told her to kill her own five children and it gave her powers beyond her imagination, and she gained the title of the Bride of Sithis. Origins of the Dark Brotherhood are debated, since its possible the Night Mother lived in the 1st or 2nd Era; but its known that they’ve existed since before Talos (Tiber Septim) was alive in the 3rd Era.

I love Hindi! I started learning it in Duolingo a few months ago and although I haven't practiced in ages I still love it

It's such a beautiful language and so different from the languages I know in the sentences structure! I have to go back to it and to learn more about the culture too!
