You ever notice a letterer’s name on a comic book and recognize it from some other book? Every time I’m like:
“Well of course they chose that guy to letter the book! They had no other rational choice. I can read the shit out of those letters and bear in mind I can barely read. So glad they didn’t go with a different guy. Fuck it. I will fight every man woman and child that says they shouldn’t have lettered this goddamn comic book.”
Attention Artists!
I’m looking for artists who’d be interested in collaborating on a comic book! My intention with this is to submit the resulting work to some publishers, in the hopes that someone would be interested in publishing it. I’m not the greatest, or fastest, artist, but I can write like a madman, (metaphorically and literally!) and I have no shortage of ideas, or scripts that are either done or in progress. I’m open to any art style or medium, and I’m pretty easy going in regards to artistic freedom; aside from a few visual ideas, you’d be open to creating whatever you’d like.
This invitation is also open to those who are interested in lettering, inking, (supposing the artist or myself isn’t very good at it) or even writers who’d be up for cowriting the series. If you’re interested, send me a dm with you email so I can contact you.
