Dear Future Love,

One of my prayers is to marry someone whom I consider as my friend first because ‘familiarity’ is important to me. I cannot imagine marrying someone I barely know.

I want and need someone who knows me and understands me with or without words. Someone whom I can consider as my rest when I am tired; someone whom I can consider as ‘certain’ when nothing else is making sense; someone whom I can consider as my home when I am overwhelmed by too many things in this world and when I just want to run away.

I do believe that romantic love will fade as we grow old, but the dept of love & loyalty found in friendship is eternal.

            You should be already able to tell how much I believe in the human connection and how necessary I deem it, if you already know so much about my repeated endeavors, combined with the topic of our current conversation.

                        I don’t know how to answer the last question. I don’t really think I can in a way that would make sense to you. And if I’m imagining your tone of voice correctly, I already know what answer you’re expecting from it.

                        In my perspective, I’m not a very good one. Out of everything we’ve talked about so far and what Sherlock’s told you about me, I find myself curious. Why exactly would you two talk about my love life of all things? There are much more interesting things about a person than who they’re dating.
