I think as women, we all have to collectively make the effort to support one another as sisters in Christ because jealousy gets in the way of that. What we covet from other women are sometimes material things that we can't even take to heaven with us. TO BE COMPLETELY HONEST 😁 Most times, we're not jealous because of what we're materially lacking. Our discontentment is contingent upon things we just can't change like how we look. Or how pretty or gifted or anointed "she" is in comparison to ourselves. So in actuality, the problem isn't the girl your hating on. You have a problem with God and how he created you the way you are and why he chose you to have certain gifts and not the other. Like a wise woman told me, "When you're always measuring yourself with others, you will always come up short. You should compare yourself to Christ." James 4:2 says, To hate is to murder as far as your heart is concerned. And at the same time, you have not because you ask not. I just wanted to shine light on things we don't often confess or acknowledge so that it can lead us to be more prayerful for our sisters and even confront ourselves in order to ask God about those things, get answers from the creator, and find affirmation in Him.
