JAPAN! Osaka Osaka, Our first stop in Japan! We landed at 2am, so our first experience was a night sleeping in the airport. A great way to save on the expensive Japanese hostels. Matt and Gareth left to spend the next three days in Osaka, whilst Roy headed to Kobe to catch up with his cousin over the next few days. We arrived at our hostel to find we had been given our own rooms. Something we hadn't experienced in a long time. We spent most of the first day lounging around and enjoying the solitude. The next day we found out our hostel over free bike rental. We took advantage of this and set out for the day. We found Osaka to be a relatively quiet and the roads were flat, perfect for hooning around on our bikes! We went to a ancient Japanese temple, the Osaka Castle and later that day heard to Donbuturi St. Donbuturi St. is a cool shopping district and has some great restaurants running through it. After three days in Osaka we felt we had seen it all and we're ready for our next destination, Kyoto!
