Silencer: Although the third image in my “Korean Project” series, this was the first concept I came up with. The series is drawn from influences from Korean and Japanese anime, and Korean folklore, but with my own twist. Each image carries a message important to me, and most definitely derive from a personal shift in priorities, due to the pandemic. Put simply- instead of weapons, how about we carry flowers instead? And, it’s this particular photograph that best illustrates the support I was extremely fortunate to have- Wardrobe Stylist, @gilleanmcleod and Makeup Stylist, @thewakingspirit I’ve had the distinct pleasure of teaming up with them, sometimes all together or not, for the last 15 years, and when we collaborate, it’s pure music.
