While trying to capture the best shot of this white lotus in the tiny pond, I was trying to focus on the flower sans the other distractions. Then it hit me, that it is not what it seems. The beautiful and pure white lotus may be surrounded by dried, fallen or misshaped leaves, torn as they lay around it, but yet the flower made its way up as it blossoms. It is a pretty sight but brings a powerful message. Even in the worst or undesirable conditions, there is no stopping the lotus from its bloom, for THAT, is what it's to do. It will rise from the water, past the floating leaves to where it desires. It does not let the situation change that fact; for it does what it is meant to. Often we are caught up in the surrounding factors when we are aiming to achieve something, and sometimes forgetting what we want or meant to be. There's that special purpose in all of us, we just need to find it. Each and every one of us are meant to and destined to be great, in our own ways. We all have our destinies; we just need to find them, focus on that and do it. Amidst all the oddities around us. Often we are too focused on finding our ways out of or around the distractions rather than the aim itself. Then we are too focused on finding that perfect picture without realizing that, what lies in front is already a picture of perfection itself. The White lotus right tells us just that; amidst all the imperfections is the perfection. And, if you focus on what you want/do, there is no stopping you even when the conditions don't foster your ambitions. Just stay focused.
