Isn’t it so cool how one landscape, one picture can make you feel so many different ways. #lesson22 is about growing, learning to adapt and accepting the change that’s forever happening. I’m definitely not the person that I was 5 years ago. In all honestly, I feel like after this quarter century of life I’ve embarked on a completely new journey that I’ve been preparing and waiting for. I’m at a stage in my life that I couldn’t have foreseen and I’m loving it. I’m loving the wonderer, the believer, the doer that’s growing within me. Change is unpredictable. It can get messy and make you want to turn back but sometimes, ‘the only way is through’. Fighting something that is bound to happen is almost as painful as worrying, but neither will change what’s to come. It’s not easy and you might have to try to stop it. Chris and Claire showed their structures, we made some with smaller pieces of plasticine to demonstrate that they were weaker. As you can see some of those are broken! Click on the image for a closer look.

We discovered that using triangles at the bases of our structures made them stronger. We found out that you couldn't build too high without building out at the base as well. We worked with great determination, sometimes our first ideas did not work but everyone demonstrated fantastic problem solving skills and found ways to improve their designs. Super structures!
