dang I didn’t expect this to resonate with people. idk if it’s a Dad Thing or what but just... it’s so tiring! it’s like they can’t be bothered to manage their own emotions so we have to do it for them, to the point where enjoying whatever activity we’re supposed to be bonding over is out of the question bc we’re constantly on Dad Management Alert and it very quickly becomes not worth it at all to invest in spending time with them

I feel like this has happened to me at least once, but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was for
