I was actually doing research for another book when I came across “Les Dames Blanches” in French folklore. These women in white killed men who refused to dance with them on bridges at night. 🌙 I had chills reading that! I wanted to know so much more about them, and so I invented my own story to answer all my questions. I especially wanted to know what the women’s real reason was behind killing these men.
