Wanda and Natasha had gotten closer to each other over the years, and the Scarlet Witch looked up to the Black Widow in admiration. Despite the fact that she could easily overpower Natasha, she still was in awe of her fighting skills and how she carried herself with fierce confidence.Â
She trusted Natasha like a sister, and the same was true the other way around. Wanda was starting to see why Yelena was so fond of her big sister.
Wanda was truly happy for the two of them. Being reunited with your other half after so many years must have been an amazing feeling. Most of the time she was happy for them, but there were times when jealousy crept in. She missed her brother Pietro and wished she could have the kind of relationship that they had.
Natasha did her best to include Wanda to not make her feel left out, but there was still the pain of the fact that she would never quite have what they had.
Wanda was in her bedroom feeling down about this, wanting to be away from everyone for now. She knew it wasnât good to be alone with her thoughts, but she didnât want to bring down everyone elseâs mood.
There was a soft knock on her door, so she snapped herself out of it.Â
âCome in.â
âHi Wanda. What are you doing here sitting in the dark? Yelena was asking where you were so we could play a board game together,â Natasha said, walking over to sit on her bed.
âOh, thatâs thoughtful,â Wanda said, slightly caught off guard that they wanted to do stuff with her.
âYou seem a little down. Are you okay?â
âNot really,â Wanda confessed.
âDo you want to talk about it?â
âOkay, I can try,â Wanda sighed. âI guess Iâve been feeling jealous of you and Yelena. I really love how you guys try to include me in things, but sometimes I feel like a third wheel.â
âOh Wanda. I know itâs hard and Iâm sorry if weâve made you jealous. I promise thatâs not our intent and youâll never be a third wheel. Youâre our other sister,â Natasha said, rubbing Wandaâs back comfortingly.Â
âItâs just hard to believe that. I know you two would rather be alone together than have me along for the ride,â Wanda said.
âThatâs not true. If anything, you make it so much better by being there. Youâre the buffer that keeps me and Yelena from pulling our hair out,â Natasha joked.
Wanda smiled softly to herself, nodding. âItâs just hard seeing any siblings, not just you two. And itâs not that I donât like being around you two, but it just makes me insecure sometimes.â
âThatâs fair, and I understand that. You can always let us know if you need some space or even hang out with just one of us separately,â Natasha reassured her.
âThanks, I appreciate that.â
âNow, do you wanna come downstairs to help me and Yelena not pull our hair out?â Natasha asked with a smile.Â
âWell, youâre old and balding, so I donât really think you need Yelena there to have your hair fall out,â Wanda teased, now feeling in a playful mood after their conversation.
âWhat?â Natasha laughed, not sure if she had heard right.
âIâm saying you're old,â Wanda reiterated.
âYeah, I got that,â Natasha said with an eye roll. The redhead was just happy that Wanda seemed to be in a little bit better of a mood. However, as quickly as the smile surfaced, it quickly disappeared.
âDid you still want to talk about it?â Natasha offered.
âNo, itâs okay. I promise I feel better.â
âCan I try something to help cheer you up?â Natasha asked.
âSure,â Wanda agreed.
The redhead scooted herself to sit on Wandaâs thighs. The witch was still sitting upright against her pillow, so she was now trapped.
Before Wanda could ask any questions, Natasha reached down to tickle the girlâs ribs, causing her to squeal in surprise.
âNATASHAHA! WHAHAT AHAHARE YOU DOHOIHING!â Wanda shouted, hunching over and wrapping her arms around herself in self-defense.Â
âGetting you to smile!â Natasha said with glee, as the witch ducked her head down so her smile couldnât be seen.
âAh ah ah, no hiding from me,â the black widow warned, reaching back to squeeze right above her knees.
Wanda yelped in surprise, her whole body snapping upwards at the sensation.Â
âOHOH MY GOHOD STAHAHAP!â She shrieked, covering her face in embarrassment.
Natasha shook her head at her, grabbing her arms and holding her wrists in one hand. With the other, she tickled the girlâs stomach, seeming to have hit the jackpot.Â
Wanda was in hysterics, now unable to talk through her laughter. The redhead took it up a notch and slipped her hand underneath her shirt, scratching away at her cute tummy.
âNOHOHO! NAHAHAT!â
âYes?â
âPLEHEHASE GEHET OHOFF!â
âBut I love seeing your smile, itâs so precious,â Natasha cooed, balancing herself as Wanda wriggled beneath her. âPlus, you did call me old earlier, so I think this also counts as your punishment for that.â
Wanda laughed harder, both from the tickling and from the hilarious joke from earlier.
âWhereâs your most ticklish spot?â Natasha asked teasingly.
âWHY WOHOULD I TEHEHELL YOHOHOU?!?â Wanda exclaimed.
Natasha let go of her hands and pinned them under her knees.
âI think I know where it is,â Natasha grinned, slowly moving her hands towards Wandaâs neck.
The witch shook her head frantically. âNoooo! Nat, please!â
Natasha snorted at her reaction, using her nails to spider over the sides of her neck and up along her ears.
Wanda was a cute giggly mess, scrunching up her nose as she laughed, and shrugging her shoulders up to protect herself from Natashaâs mean fingers.
âohohOKAay! I cahAHAHanât!â Wanda was wheezing with laughter, turning red in the face.
âHmm, as long as youâre all cheered up and accept that Iâm not old.â Natasha raised an eyebrow at her.
âNohoho!â Wanda insisted, still giggling.
âYou just want to be tickled more,â Natasha laughed, going back to tickle her tummy and sides. Wanda squealed and quickly surrendered, playfully pushing the redhead off of her.
âYour nails scare me,â Wanda admitted.
âTheyâre the best tool for tickling,â Natasha said, wiggling her fingers at Wanda playfully.
âAre you feeling better now?â Natasha asked.
âYes, I am. It felt good to laugh freely,â the witch admitted.
âThatâs great to hear. Wanna come down and play? I bet Yelenaâs wondering where we are,â Natasha said, as Wanda nodded and stood up, following her out the door.
Little did they know that they had given Yelena just enough time to set up a prank.
